I am passionate about financially enriching client's lives and am a Trusted Financial Adviser with over 29 years of financial experience. During my career I have been a manager at ANZ, National Bank, Country Wide, and was a superannuation/lending specialist in Australia for St George Bank.
My transition to financial advising was seamless, as I have been in this role for most my working life. The big difference for me as an advisor is that I can now work for you!

A highlight in my career was the achievement of winning Judges award for excellence in Financial Advice 2015 from the professional adviser's association. This was an inaugural award recognising that I gave advice across all areas of my client's financial position.

I have been working in the industry for 12 years and have been a Director of Affinity since 2020. Together with Sandra Spence we have created a business that can advise around Mortgage, Insurance & Investment advice. This was important to both if us as we strong believe that the financial health of our clients is best aided when an adviser can review the larger picture.
Working with clients has come naturally as I have worked in lending and insurance organisations for 15 years prior to starting with Affinity. I am excited by the opportunity to work at Affinity as a Financial Adviser as I have a wealth of lending knowledge that can assist my clients make great decisions and lead to excellent outcomes. I pride myself on caring for my customers and making sure they are receiving the best advice possible for their situation. I will work with clients to achieve goals and will often provide recommendations on a plan they need to complete to make the goal a realty. As a Financial Adviser, I relish the opportunity to assist Kiwi's meeting their home buying goals. Having gone through the process myself, I understand the guidance and support required to get into your own home. I have a keen eye on the market and time to nurture my clients through the intricacies of home buying whether that be your first home, second home, investment property or any financial decision.
I have been in the finance industry for 5 years now and had the ability to learn the ropes whilst studying a Bachelor of Commerce. This time with Affinity has provided me with a sound knowledge of the banking industry and what areas of finance can suit my client’s needs.

Vicki joined the Affinity team in 2015 as an executive lending assistant.
Vicki has extensive experience in lending due to working for ANZ Bank as a banking consultant for 20 years. The skills and relationships she developed at the Bank have enabled her to flourish in the brokerage industry. At Affinity, she now utilises her skills by assisting Sandra and Nick with lending applications.

As one of the original staff members of ASB Dunedin branch, I bring to Affinity a legacy of banking knowledge. I currently head the wealth and investment branch of Affinity, where I assist the investment channel for, Sandra Spence, as her Executive Assistant.
In 2022 I took on the role of Compliance Officer at Affinity to further my knowledge of the business and use my skills to assist with our business's compliance requirements.
The skill set I have acquired from my history in customer service has allowed my role at Affinity to come naturally. I am a person who has immersed herself in many roles of responsibility and organisation, I consider myself competent at time management and team cohesion.
I am a founding member and Trustee of the Otago Children’s Autism Support Group, and take great pride in helping to establish this charitable Trust that assist’s families and children with Autism.
After 12 years working in banking industry I made the decision to move on to a new opportunity with Affinity where I would head the insurance arm of their business. This role was perfect for my skill set as I have always been customer relationship focused and insurance is an area of finance that requires timely, diligent responses however also encompass the compassion and empathy required when dealing with such important protection.
Personal Risk insurance has many intricacies and it is my role to help with all areas if the insurance experience with Affinity. I am the port of call for any information required, claims, application gathering and all areas of conversing with the insurers to derive positive outcomes. I enjoy working with people and pride myself on my ability to be contacted and adhere to timely response. Affinity have dedicated a role to the customer experience of insurance and it has been by pleasure to engage with our customers.
